The weather was clear, had good stay for my vacation. I was offered a room with superb views over the lake. The personnel was helpful and attentive. The location of this hotel not far from aquarium, the city center and other attractions was stunning.

I chose Ryuguden because it was conveniently located near Hakone Shrine, a place I had been eager to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the property's free shuttle service, which made getting around the area much easier. Additionally, the free WiFi access and private parking were great amenities. The highlight for me was the delicious Japanese cuisine offered at the onsite restaurants.
Not ideal for active travelers.

Great choice for trip. Amazing hotel with great facilities, excellent location on the shores of lake Ashi. Location so close to the main attraction, aquarium and Onsen. Close to Ruinas do Castelo Shogaka and 100 feet from Petting Zoo...

The guest rooms at Ryuguden were such a cozy surprise! The tatami flooring and traditional futon bedding made me feel like I was truly experiencing Japanese culture. I loved relaxing in the seating area and the private bathroom was a major plus.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the deep soaking bathtubs. But hey, that's just my preference – others might enjoy it!

Located just a short walk from the serene temple on the mountain, this cozy hotel offers great transport options to reach all the amazing places nearby. The incredible view of Lake Ashi from the room and bathroom is breathtaking. The delicious breakfast and dinner menu is a gastronomical delight with the fresh and traditional Japanese cuisine. Onsen facilities are impressive and not overcrowded.
The pick-up service from transit is not efficient, so it might be challenging to reach the hotel.
